Day 1

Early morning, private transfer from your hotel in Istanbul and transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Milas Bodrum Airport and/or Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport depending on the flight schedules. The duration of the flight is approximately 1-2 hours depending on airport. Upon arrival, meet your guide and drive to Didim for hotel check in. In the afternoon, pick up from your hotel and start the tour with a visit to the Temple of Apollo, one of the best-preserved and most impressive sanctuaries of the ancient Greek world, admire the monumental Ionic columns, sacred precinct and walk through Didim town center. Day 2

After breakfast, you will meet our representatives and drive to Lake Bafa at approximately 30 minutes. You will explore the spectacular mountain scenery, bird life, olive groves, peaceful lakeside villages. We will continue to Herakleia at Latmus.

Highlights of Herakleia: Ancient city walls, Temple of Athena, Agora, Necropolis, Hellenistic fortifications, Panoramic views over lake Bafa.

In the afternoon, optional short boat excursion on Lake Bafa, weather and season permitting.

Highlights at Lake Bafa:

Once an inlet of the Aegean Sea, the lake was gradually separated from the coast by the sediments of the Buyuk Menderes River, creating today's unique landscape.

Surrounded by olive groves, granite peaks, and tranquil waters, it offers some of the most photogenic scenery in the Aegean Region.

Beautiful sunrise and sunset views make it a favorite destination for photographers.

Visit Byzantine monasteries and rock hermitages.

At the end of the tour return to Didim for overnight stay.

Day 3

After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and drive north to Panionion.

Highlights of Panionion:

Discover the meeting place of the twelve Ionian cities, Ancient council area, sanctuary dedicated to Poseidon Helikonios, historical importance to the Ionian League.

Will continue into Dilek Peninsula and visit Buyuk Menderes Delta National Park with its spectacular coastal scenery of pine forests, wildlife and hidden beaches.

Lunch at a restaurant in Guzelcamli.

In the afternoon, visit of Zeus Cave. Swimming opportunity for those who would like to dive in the clear waters.

At a specific time return to the hotel via scenic coastal road for overnight stay in Didim.

Day 4

After breakfast, board a traditional excursion boat. Cruise along the Didim coastline which includes hidden coves, swimming stops, snorkeling, views of Aegean islands and lunch on the boat.

In the afternoon, free time at Altinkum beach with optional coffee breaks, shopping and beach relaxation.

In the evening, farewell dinner featuring fresh Aegean seafood, local olive oil dishes and regional wines.

Overnight stay at a boutique hotel in Didim.

Day 5

After breakfast and depending on flight time, visit the local market and shop olive oil, herbs, local honey, ceramics, handmade textiles prior to your transfer to the airport for your domestic flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival, private transfer to your hotel in Istanbul.
