Start your experience with a convenient meeting at our centrally located office in the Sirkeci area. Meet your professional photography guide and begin your journey from this central point before heading to the best photo locations.


Option 1:

Classic Sunrise Bosphorus & Ortakoy Tour. The best time is sunrise to late morning.

  • Ortakoy Mosque & Square - Sunrise behind the mosque and Bosphorus Bridge. Iconic composition: mosque, bridge, boat in one frame.
  • Ortakoy Streets - Narrow lanes, cafés, kumpir & waffle stands. Great for street and detail shots (signs, textures, doors).
  • Bosphorus Coast Walk (Ortakoy → Bebek)- Boats, fishermen, joggers, dogs. - Long-lens shots of bridges, waterside mansions (yali). Highlights: Golden hour over water, a mix of architecture and lifestyle.


Option 2:

Old City “Essentials: Sultanahmet & Hippodrome. Best time: Morning or late afternoon

  • Sultanahmet Square - Blue Mosque exteriors from the park (fountains, trees as foreground).
  • Hagia Sophia (Exterior & Courtyard). Wide angles for domes and minarets, details of doors and stonework.
  • Hippodrome Area- German Fountain, Obelisk, Serpent Column. - Good for symmetry and line compositions.
  • Arasta Bazaar- Controlled chaos, carpets, ceramics, colorful storefronts. Highlights: Iconic cityscapes, easy landmark shots in a compact area.


Option 3:

Grand Bazaar & Spice Bazaar: Color and Chaos. Best time: Late morning to mid-afternoon (when shops are open and busy)

  • Grand Bazaar (Kapalicarsi )- Patterns of arched ceilings, lamps, jewelry, textiles.
  • Nuruosmaniye Street (Approach to Bazaar) - Classic entrance shot with street perspective.
  • Spice Bazaar (Misir Carsisi) - Overhead shots of spices, teas, lokum; vibrant color.
  • Rustem Pasa Mosque (near Spice Bazaar)- Famous Iznik tiles; quieter, intimate interior photography. Highlights: Intense color, textures, and people; great for detail and street.


Option 4:

Suleymaniye Mosque & Golden Horn Views. Best time: Late afternoon to blue hour

  • Suleymaniye Mosque Courtyard- Arcades and columns framing city views. - Strong leading lines and symmetrical compositions.
  • Rear Terraces & Café Area - Overlook of Golden Horn and Galata Tower.
  • Streets around Suleymaniye- Old wooden houses, small workshops, low-key local life. Highlights: One of the best panoramic viewpoints in the Old City.


Option 5:

Galata Bridge & Eminonu: Street & Skyline. Best time: Late afternoon to sunset/blue hour

  • Eminonu Square. - Crowds, vendors, ferries, grilled fish boats.
  • Galata Bridge (Lower & Upper Levels). Fishermen silhouettes; reflections from restaurants below. - Sunset with city skyline, including mosques and minarets.
  • Karakoy End of the Bridge - View back towards Sultanahmet and Suleymaniye. Highlights: Dynamic street scenes + iconic silhouettes at sunset.


Option 6:

Galata Tower & Karakoy Backstreets. Best time: Morning or just before sunset

  • Around Galata Tower- Classic uphill street shot with tower at the end.
  • Galip Dede Street - Music shops, art galleries, people on slopes.
  • Karakoy Streets - Street art, cafés, industrial facades, tram lines.

Fener & Balat: Colorful Neighborhoods. Best time: Morning to late afternoon

  • Balat Colorful Houses - Sloping streets with bright facades and laundry lines.

Kadikoy & Moda (Asian Side). Best time: Afternoon to sunset

  • Kadikoy Market. - Fishmongers, vegetable stands, meyhane (taverns) fronts.
  • Street Art in Yeldegirmeni & Kadikoy- Murals and graffiti; modern urban feel.
  • Moda Coast Walk - Sunset over the European side, people on rocks, city silhouette.
  • Moda Park & Tram - Vintage tram + everyday life; good for candid street shots. Highlights: Everyday local life, great sunsets, less crowded than Sultanahmet.


Option 9:

Uskudar & Maiden’s Tower. Best time: Sunset & blue hour

  • Uskudar Coast - Wide-angle shots of skyline across Bosphorus.
  • Mihrimah Sultan Mosque (Exterior). Use as foreground with water/sky behind.
  • Maiden’s Tower Viewpoints (Salacak). Classic Istanbul postcard; long exposure options at blue hour. Highlights: Romantic skyline, reflections, excellent evening atmosphere.


Option 10:

Night Photography: Istiklal Street & Taksim, Best time: After dark

  • Istiklal Avenue, Neon lights, crowds, reflections on wet pavement if it rains.

  • Side Passages & Churches - Atmospheric alleys, light-and-shadow contrasts. Highlights: Lively night street photography with plenty of subjects.
