The park protects a unique landscape where a sandy beach, forest, freshwater creek, lagoon and wetlands meet in one location. The area was officially declared a Wildlife Protection Area back in 2005.
Cilingoz region lies within the historic Thrace, a land inhabited by Thracian tribes for centuries before the arrival of the Greeks and Romans.

After arrival and entering at the Cilingoz Nature Park, your guide will introduce the area's history, geography, and ecosystem. Free time in nature or enjoy swimming, relax on the Cillingoz sandy beach (weather permitting).
Free time to enjoy picnic lunch, observe local flora and wildlife, take panoramic photographs and explore the peaceful surroundings. You may bring your own lunch box, snacks or try the local dishes from seasonal cafes.
